Here's your roundup of Patch's picks for weekend fun in the Tri-Valley.

You don’t have to cross a bridge for your weekend entertainment. From the national tour of The Music Man in San Ramon to the Scrapbook Expo in Pleasanton, we’ve got you covered.

Where/When: Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Dougherty Valley Performing Arts Center in San Ramon.
Why Go: Enjoy the award-winning all-American musical full of tender romance and favorite tunes including "Ya Got Trouble" and "Seventy-Six Trombones." The Dougherty Valley School Marching Band will join in on the fun.

Where/When: Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Bunjo's Comedy Lounge in Dublin.
Why Go: Laugh a little--or a lot--this weekend at this comedy show. See Sammy Obeid, winner of the "Killer Laughs Competition," during Bunjo's Comedy All Star Show.

Where/When:  Friday at 8 p.m. at the Blackhawk Museum in Danville. 
Why Go:  Mardi Gras celebrations continue this weekend as party goers gear up to enjoy free beads, airbrush art, magic, music and dancing. The event is for ages 21 and older.

Where/When: Friday and Saturday at the Alameda Country Fairgrounds in Pleasanton.
Why Go: Stickers, albums, stamps, punches, trimmers — scrapbooking fans will be busy for hours at the two-day Scrapbook Expo, featuring scrapbooking supply manufacturers, crop parties and workshops.
Price:  $9 admission plus $8 parking

Where/When: Friday at 8 p.m. at Las Positas College in Livermore.
Why Go: Deadheads and Celtic music fans alike will enjoy "Wake the Dead," touted as the "world's only Celtic all-star Grateful Dead jam band." Don't miss this benefit concert for the Las Positas College music department.
Price: $10 for students and $22 for general admission. Click here for tickets.

Also, for all you wine lovers, don't miss this weekend's 3rd Annual Barrel Tasting in the Livermore Valley, where you can taste wines right out of the barrel and meet winemakers. Visit www.lvwine.org for a list of participating wineries and their activities taking place on Saturday and Sunday.

Out of Town Picks: You don't have to be a collector to enjoy the Candlestick Park Antiques & Collectibles Faire in San Francisco this weekend. Browse through hundreds of booths for vintage and antique finds in the famous Candlestick Park stadium. Can't make it this weekend?
