Organic Veggies, Delivered to Your Doorstep

Several delivery services bring locally grown, organic produce right to your doorstep.

Our San Ramon Farmer's Market doesn't open until May 15, but you can still have locally grown organic fruits and veggies—delivered right to your front door.

Several Bay Area companies partner with California farms to deliver organic produce to homes around the Bay Area. Here is a list of those serving San Ramon:

Albert & Eve Organics

This delivery service strives to source from Northern California farms whenever possible. Choose from seven different assortments and sizes, from $22.90 for a small "essential organic mix box" to $46.80 for a "Deluxe Plus Organic Fruit & Veg" box that feeds 5-6 people. Delivery included in the price.

Farm Fresh to You

Most of the produce (80 percent in the summer) comes straight from the company's own family farm in the Capay Valley. Choose a box of mixed fruit and veggies, "easy to prepare" (no cooking required) assortment, veggie only or fruit only. Prices range from $25 for a small mixed box to $110 for a large "fruit only snack pack." Delivery included in the price.

Planet Organics

The San Francisco-based, family-owned home delivery service features local produce, supplemented with imported organic tropical fruit. Planet Organics also delivers grocery items, ranging from organic chocolates to meats. The minimum order is $32, with delivery included.

Spud

This large organic delivery service operates in seven cities on the west coast, hiring and buying locally for each location. Select a "fresh harvest box" (starting at $22 for one person) or select individual items for your delivery. Spud also offers grocery items ranging from artisan baguettes to baby food. Delivery is free on orders over $40; fees vary on lower-priced orders.
