Hi, we hail from Pennsylvania and North Carolina. We first signed up with Patch back in 2012 in San Ramon, California. I actually went to high school here when my dad was a Marine Corp fighter pilot at MCAS Yuma Air Station. Yuma has it's own International Airport! We moved back to Yuma after living all over the world. Yuma is growing at a break neck pace. There have been at least 20 new housing developments built here in the past 20 years. Yuma is 2 1/2 hours from San Diego beaches on her West side, Mexican Riviera beaches to her South, the greater Phoenix metropolitan region to her East and amazing water sheds, lakes for fishing, Wildlife preserves and agriculture that surround Yuma. We have 2 Military bases here too. Yuma used to be a Winter getaway for snowbirds..but people are living here year round. Yuma has a rich history and a very diverse population. Indigenous tribes, Mexican Americans and so many other peoples from everywhere. Yuma is rich in History and Wild West tales!
