I'm originally from Sacramento, where I graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a degree in journalism and communication studies. I worked several positions at our student newspaper, The State Hornet, including features writer, wire editor, features online editor, features editor and copy editor.
Since then, I have helped launch Vacaville Magazine as its editor, worked as a writer and copy editor for the Natomas Journal and as the Lifestyle & Arts Editor for the Elk Grove Citizen.
