Justice for all
I'm an average middle aged family man, born and raised in Southern California.  I was in the legal profession for over 30 years.  I don't normally participate in local news blogs unless it's a topic that piques my interest or when I see things appear unfairly one sided.
I firmly believe in freedom of speech, but it rubs me raw when people exercise this right by perpetuating pure nonsense.  I encourage intelligent dialogues regardless of any point of view. I occasionally feel that some arguments deserve an intellectual jab or two to keep people on their toes.  My objective is not to criticize or insult people, but to help those individuals who stray off topic to get back on course and focus on thinking more intellectually.  I know that this sometimes makes me appear antagonistic or a jerk.  I won't dispute other's feelings, but in reality I'm guilty of harmlessly behaving like a pompous ass.  Sorry. I long for stimulating discussion, but unfortunately I've been witness to the "dumbing down of America" over the past few decades.  It's frustrating and disappointing to meet adults who ramble and can't express their thoughts or follow an argument to it's logical conclusion.  I've had the experience of interviewing many college graduates who have difficulty with simple grammar and punctuation.  Some, quite honestly, border on illiterate.  But, I digress. I've chosen the moniker "Justice for all" because I truly feel that American's are losing their grip on morality.  No one wants to take responsibility for their actions anymore.  They lay blame on anyone and everyone but themselves.  It's become popular now to jump on the "government conspiracy" bandwagon.  A pathetic and worn out tactic of the morally bankrupt members of society.   The result is that victims are further victimized, the justice system is victimized, and society is victimized. I know life isn't fair.  I'm not trying to play super hero. But I certainly can make my humble contributions to support JUSTICE FOR ALL.
