Jason Alpert is currently the editor in chief of The California Aggie, the on-campus newspaper for UC Davis. He is entering his fifth year in journalism. Jason got his start as a writer at The Californian, the student newspaper for California High School is San Ramon. He was the sports editor for The Californian his senior year. After one year as a sports writer for The California Aggie at UC Davis, Jason eventually became sports editor for The Aggie.

Jason has lived in San Ramon his entire life. When he's not writing he's watching the San Francisco Giants or playing baseball. Jason is studying political science and economics at UC Davis. He hopes to work with sports in one way or another after he graduates in 2013.
