I am a stay at home Mama to Maddie, 5, and Sam, 3. When not wiping up the floor or preparing nutritionally sound meals, I can be found photographing my children or blogging. I also love to read, cook, and fantasize about writing children's books.

Before joining the Patch network of community bloggers, I worked as a therapist with kids, adolescents and families.

I am a graduate of Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology. I have a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.
