San Ramon's first historic house museum, the David Glass House was built in 1877 by David and Eliza Glass.More Constructed in the Italianate Victorian style, it plays an important role in the San Ramon community as a historical site representative of life in the San Ramon Valley during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

It is a two-story, nine-room home in the Forest Home Farms Historic Park.

The San Ramon Historic Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-dependent organization dedicated to protecting andMore preserving the city's historical structures.

The foundation is at Forest Home Farms, which was given to the city of San Ramon by Ruth Quayle Boone in 1997. The foundation is home to the David Glass House, San Ramon's first historical house museum, and offers tours of both the house and the rest of the historical park on Saturdays. Those interested in supporting the foundation can volunteer their time at special events or as docents or can make a financial pledge.
