My recommendation is 0.00 % - way to many accidents happen under influence [each body reactsRead More different to every sip of alcohol]

What a great job by the San Ramon Valley Firefighters! Glad to see that the young hiker followedRead More one of the most important rules of hiking - never hike alone. If he had been alone, who knows how long it would have been before he had been found. A happy outcome all around!

My family and I came back yesterday. We are okay. Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers. I wasRead More 1/2 mile from finish line when the race was stopped. Thank God for a fortunate cramp that slowed me down. It was because I slowed dowed down that made my family delayed in seeing me on mile 21, so they were making their way to the finish line later when the bombs went off. Please pray for those less fortunate. God bless - Winton Jew, San Ramon

I can't believe how calm Alexa stayed during that whole thing! Good job by the 9-1-1 operator toRead More keep her that way, too.

She did a fantastic job! I hope Mom is doing well.

Oh, my goodness, what a precious little girl. It was so touching to hear how she completely keptRead More her composure during the call, which is amazing for a child so young, and combined that with trying to comfort Mom until help arrived. Many adults wouldn't have been able to do the same with such a calmness and confidence under the same circumstances. She absolutely deserves the recognition she is set to receive. Incredible job, Alexa! Hope Mom is doing better. God bless.

Good. People who terrorize people need to be locked up for a very long time. They came in theirRead More prepared to kill. If they hadn't intended to kill, they would not have brought any weapons.

Ken Briggs May 1, 2013 at 09:40 am

I heard exactly what Livermore Native heard, and I am at Murdell/Concannon. Thought it might be aRead More copy cat, or pranksters with some serious stuff to stir up emotions. That is why when I asked the Patch about it the next morning, since I saw nothing, I got no answer, until today when Autumn just sent me this forwarded link. Glad it's nothing serious, but I felt it big time in my chair, and it was loud.

Just wondering if any of you who heard it-did any of you call the police and ask them? I live inRead More P-town and I didn't hear a thing. not even a mouse.
