Thank God for a fortunate cramp that slowed me down. It was because I slowed dowed down that made my family delayed in seeing me on mile 21, so they were making their way to the finish line later when the bombs went off. Oh, my goodness, what a precious little girl. It was so touching to hear how she completely kept…Read More her composure during the call, which is amazing for a child so young, and combined that with trying to comfort Mom until help arrived. Many adults wouldn't have been able to do the same with such a calmness and confidence under the same circumstances.
She absolutely deserves the recognition she is set to receive. Incredible job, Alexa! Hope Mom is doing better. God bless.
