Moved here in 1978 . when it was known as San Ramon Village and except for the old Circle K market…Read More next to the Shell station on Crow Canyon Rd.if you wanted groceries you went to either Danville or Dublin. Nothing but fields and orchards then. Back in those days we also had a couple of topless bars on the Blvd. north of Crow Canyon.
One Complaint........ once the City was incorporated no one in the City Government has either had the drive or vision to create a true Down Town.........really sad for such a nice place..............35 years and still waiting.

Eight months later, we had sold our house and were already searching for a home. October 2012, we were fortunate to buy a beautiful house in Gale Ranch. For our 3 school going kids we could not make a better decision as San Ramon has the top-notch public schools which are among the very best in the nation. We Love San Ramon!

Pet food express in Dublin is closing this week. The young workers there could not be nicer or more…Read More helpful. It's sad that these young adults will be losing their jobs. Full Circle (a non-profit agency) is looking for an…Read More Independent Living Instructor for a young man in the San Ramon area with cerebral palsy. Ideally the applicant will be mature, responsible, organized, creative and flexible. Experience is helpful, interest is essential.
The job description includes supporting and training the young man in various areas including: household chores, laundry, shopping, meal planning, cooking, paying bills and balancing his checkbook and medical appts. Assistance with personal hygiene and house cleaning is not necessary nor required. The client lives in his own home, drives a car, works and has a very busy schedule. He is very outgoing and personable.
It is a part time position, 8 hours per week with the possibility of additional hours with other clients if desired. The schedule would typically be 4 hours per day (approx. 9:00 am to 1:00 pm) on Monday or Tuesday and again on Friday. Some flexibility is required. Pay is based on previous experience with the starting pay at $14.00 or more depending on experience. Applicants must have a clean DMV record and pass a live scan background check.

Why is there a phone company between two restaurants? And an insurance co between restaurants? A Sushi place next to a TV store and fireplace outlet. two Mexican food places, two pizza places and scattered a few feet from each other. No wonder business go out every two years.
