The Futon Shop

Founded in 1976, The Futon Shop opened their San Ramon store in 2008, following a successful 11 year stretch in Dublin. It specializes in providing comfortable and durable futon mattresses, sofa beds and bedding made from environmentally-friendly materials that are hand sewn in it's San Francisco factory. Customers can also find indoor or outdoor mattress slip covers made from washable, stain resistant fabrics offered in hundreds of colors and styles, from bright or neutral colored microfibers to soft polyesters, sturdy outduras and patterned chenilles. Since it believes in sustainability, it also created a line of futon covers and pillows in bamboo and organic cotton fabric.
