<p>Country Club Elementary School was established in 1965. It has been recognized for achievement as a California Distinguished School and a National Blue Ribbon School. </p> <p> It is at the southern end of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District and is one of 13 elementary schools in San Ramon. There are 601 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. </p> <p>Michael Biondi is the current principal and the school's mission statement is: To challenge and engage our students. It's high academic standards encourage all children to realize their full potential to become caring people, responsible citizens and life-long learners.</p>
