Tri Valley Soccer Club Players to Train in Munich

The reigning European Club Champion, Fußball-Club Bayern Munich, has extended an invitation to three Tri Valley Soccer Club players to visit and train with FC Bayern Munich toward the end of November.

Forward Joey Jones, defender Ali Arianmanesh and goalkeeper Kienan Weekes were identified by a FC Bayern Munich director during a summer visit to San Ramon.

Jones attends De La Salle High School. Arianmanesh and Weekes attend Dougherty High.

The three players currently play for the U19 Tri Valley SC Arsenal which competes in the US Club Soccer National Premier League

During their weeklong visit in Munich, each player will train daily with their respective age group teams, watch and analyze team training for the professional team, interact with the FC Bayern Munich coaching staff and visit the spectacular Allianz Arena in Munich for a Bundesliga match with Eintract Braunschweig.

The visit will give the players the opportunity to both display their ability and be exposed to one of Europe’s leading player development clubs. FC Bayern Munich recruits players from all over the world and these three players are the first ever selected in Northern California.

As the partnership between Tri-Valley SC and FC Bayern Munich continues to grow and expand, TVSC coaches and players will be visiting Germany in 2014 and FC Bayern Munich coaches will be visiting TVSC in the late spring of 2014.
