We are now taking registrations for our 1 Week Outdoor Minicamps: August 20 - 24.

Join our 2012 summer counselors for a great finish to the summer at the Lafayette Reservoir with Outdoor Explorers for campers aged K-6th grade (9am-3pm) or Little Explorers for 3 & 4 year olds (9am-12:30pm).

At Outdoor Explorers every day is full of adventure-- fishing for trout and blue gill, exploring the many hiking trails at the Reservoir and learning outdoor living skills. Campers  develop skills in fishing, boating, camping and wilderness survival skills, outdoor cooking, nature exploration, crafts, and games.Transportation from Alamo CVs, Sycamore Denny's or Walnut Creek CVS is included.

Little Explorers is a one-week introduction to the Roughing It experience for young campers, ages 3-4. Little Explorers will enjoy camp activities with a small group of campers and their own experienced Roughing It counselors. Activities include: quiet and active games, fishing with our lifeguard certified waterfront staff, nature, outdoors ("Let's go camping" skills and outdoor cooking), sports, short hikes, story time, singing, Opening Circle, group time and crafts.
