Boys golf: Haley Finishes 11th at NorCal Regional

Senior narrowly misses a spot to compete at the State Championships

California High senior golfer Justin Haley shot a 1-under par, 71 at the NorCal Regional Golf Championships Monday to finish in an 11th place tie.

Haley needed to be one of the top-six individuals from a non-qualifying team to advance to the State Championships, but fell two shots back of the cut at the Diablo Grande Golf Club - Legends Course in Patterson.

It wraps up possibly the best high school golf career in school history.
