Patch Stats: How Bad is the Bullying Problem in Tri-Valley High Schools?

This week, a mother of a 15-year-old girl at Dougherty Valley High School posted a cell phone video purporting to show her daughter and another student fighting. The video was accompanied by a plea from the mother for other parents to take a stand against bullying. 

How big of a problem is bullying at Tri-Valley schools? A survey of students from the 2011-12 school year shows that students at San Ramon Valley USD schools feel less threatened and experience less violence than their peers in Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore.
