Students from around the San Ramon Valley Unified School District showed off their music skills at the California High School Area Band Festival Thursday night.
The fifth grade combined band came from , , , , and elementary schools.
The sixth grade band and the seventh and eighth grade combine band was made up of students from and middles schools.
Also performing was the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band.
Kent Johnson, the Cal High band director, said, "everyone had an excellent performance."
The concert was dapened by the news that one earlier in the day.
