San Ramon Valley Under Federal Review for Discrimination Complaints

Employees at the San Ramon Valley Unified District will be "under the microscope" of federal education officials for the next two years following repeat discrimination complaints from parents of special education students, according to an article in the Contra Costa Times.

The complaints come after a 12-year-old autistic student and peers in his special day class at Los Cerros Middle School were excluded from attending a six-grade school field trip.
