My sons have been attending La Petite academy for the past year. Since day-one I have noticed that my sons have been developing mentally and emotionally at an accelerated pace. I think that the reason behind this is that La Petite has a stellar group of employees. When I have dropped my sons off or picked them up, I have seen how the staff truly care about the children and how they interact with them. The staff also interact with the parents well. I am never second guessing my decision to leave my sons in their care. My sons are motivated when they come home to pick up books by themselves. They also sing the "clean-up" song that they learned in school while picking up their own toys and messes. I have noticed that when I take them places where they have to interact with other children such as the local play ground, they play well and have developed emotional empathy for other children. I credit La Petite Academy for helping to boost these skills in my sons.

My son goes to Little Scholar's Nest preschool!! We love it for several reasons. The facility is very neat and safe, and the staffs are very caring and supportive. I like their curriculum, they are very academic and at the same time they encourage fun activities, dance and sports. They also focus on healthy nutrition!! The list can go on and on.... We love Little Scholar's Nest!!

Hello all, My child is 18 months and has been attending little bridges. This church based daycare is truly the best! I have checked out every center based daycare in san ramon and Danville and this one met all of my standards and some. Love the teachers there: You guys rock!!!

I hear that Little Bridges have a 500 person waiting list...that must say something!
Christina Jue March 08, 2012 at 09:55 PM
My two sons have been going to Little Bridges since they were four months old. They are now two and five years old. My two year old already knows his alphabet and loves his class. Our five year old will be entering kindergarten this fall and is definitely ready for whatever they do. I credit the teachers for their skills and their patience and love for the kids. Little bridges is really the best if your lucky enough to get in! Tip: put your name on the wait list when you find out you're pregnant- that's what we did! ;)

We love Little Bridges, my two boys are there. We moved to LB when my first son was 9 months old from another San Ramon daycare. We couldn't have made a better decision - the teachers truly love the kids, they tell me the best stories when I pick them up, and my boys ask to go on the weekends :) I can't say enough good things about it - love love love Little Bridges. You definitely gotta get your name on the list when you find out you are preggo :)

I am an employee and a parent as well at Little Bridges. I couldn't ask for a better group of teachers to work with and my husband and I know that my daughter is in wonderful hands during the day. She loves going to school and I can't imagine her anywhere else.

Little Bridges Childcare in San Ramon is the best! Our girls have been there for years, and the amazing relationships we've made with the teachers and staff are invaluable. A true peace of mind knowing the kids are happy and having fun - couldn't ask for more.

Little Brides is a great preschool. The staff is friendly... and the whole school feels like a family. Parents always stop by their childrens previous classrooms and the teachers are always welcoming and excited to see previous students! Plus teachers have a very low turnover rate so the kids recognize everyone!

I vote for Little Bridges and would highly recommend it!! It is an incredible place and a wonderful start for kids before they head off to school! We have two children already at Little Bridges, and our little one will be joining them in a month. The environment at Little Bridges is very nurturing and supportive, both in terms of the teachers who work there and the other families with kids who attend the school. Everyone is involved and it makes the school a warm environment for the kids to learn and grow up a little -- and still be little kids too. It is an excellent preschool and we are so happy to have our kids be part of the Little Bridges family!

La Petite Academy is the best preschool No doubt. My children have been with them for about six years now, and I can see how much they have help my children grow. The welcoming and wonderful environment is a delight to walk in...

I am a parent of a current employer at la petite academy. My daughter used to attend la petite when she was younger we were so happy with them. They brought joy to my daughter and now my daughter loves working there. This place is still great and it has gotten so much better these past twenty years.

Hi my name is Lorrie and I am a teacher at La Petite. I have worked at several centers and this is by far the best. The staff has some of the most caring people working for the children and their needs. We take pride in treating the children that attend as we would want our own children to be treated. I love this environment and enjoy watching the children grow. I have seen many children start with us a babies and are now in our school ager program.

We love La Petite - Management stuff and teachers are wonderful! Our daughter loves teachers!!!

My daughter is at Little Bridges and my wife and I couldn't be happier. The staff is loving/nurturing but also so great at working the kids as they develop. They communicate well and we love the lessons plans. The teachers have also been helpful in guiding us in ways that we can challenge our daughter when she is away from school. Conversely, they are flexible to accommodate our family and the little things that we want done with our daughter at home and school. Because of those two things, our 18 month old (who's been at LB since 4 months) has had a consistent learning/growth environment at home and at school. If/when we have our second child, we'll be calling as soon as we know we're pregnant to get a spot reserved for our baby!

Well, I think the answer is that there are many "best" pre-schools in San Ramon! I'm sure each one has its strengths. Aren't we lucky to be living in a city that nurtures our precious children?
isabel Lau March 09, 2012 at 07:00 AM
Dan, I absolutely agree. I'd like to thank SR Patch for allowing us to share our personal experiences and information about preschools. We are indeed fortunate to live in this valley that is rich with early childhood education opportunities.

Little Bridges is our second home! From the moment of our inquiry, we were welcomed with open arms by a wonderful director and staff that were professional, friendly and warm. After visiting a few other schools, LB was the obvious choice! The facility is clean and well-maintained and the curriculum is second to none, with a planned program for all the age groups. Common themes and lessons are carried out throughout the school year with age appropriate exercises/applications. Both of our children have grown and flourished at LB and it's been a joy to watch them thrive thanks to the amazing teachers, who have become extended family. Our eldest started kindergarten this year and she is in the top of her class thanks to the awesome staff and the preparation she received at LB!!

Hello, My name is Donna Mae; I work for La Petite Academy preschool. I feel so honor to be a part of the best preschool poll. However, my vote is for all the schools that are listed on this page. All of these schools are just a building. What’s inside the building are caring teachers who take pride giving the children an awesome program with smiles, love and dedication. Each preschool teacher goes over and beyond the call of duty! In return they get gram crackers, smiles, juice, and paint on the clothes, cute little sayings that leaves impeccable impressions in our hearts! Every teacher here deserves special recognition, I would like to say to my family of preschool teachers, you are great and awesome, I commend you for the patience the energy and the smiles! Continue doing what you are doing and please pat yourself on the back because you have and always will make a difference in the hearts of every child! SO please take my vote to each and every center that is listed on this page. If you are not listed please read this: YOU ARE SPECIAL AND UNIQUE and thank you for all the hard work and dedication that you are currently doing. I commend you and your hard work! Many blessings to each and every center that holds the heart of every child!

La Petite is amazing! As first time parents, childcare is a tough decision to make. La petite made it so easy. Professional and caring. My daughter loves it here. She gets lots of love and attention and we get huge peace of mind! What more can you ask for? Thanks to all the amazing teachers at La Petite :)

Little Scholar's Nest is the best!! It's very good academically and the teachers provide love and caring environment for the kids. I sent my kid to La Petite Academy for 4 months, but he came back crying each and every day, he was very unhappy - lost lot of weight and used to be very sad, also used to kick his brother a lot after coming back home. It is not very clean and hygenic wise I wasn't very happy!! Very less student to teacher ratio and they don't try to understand each student's individual needs!! I had to take him out from there and started sending him to Little Scholars Nest from March, 2010. It's been 2 years - no crying, no complains, no health issues. Little Scholars Nest provides a very loving and caring environment for kids. He is not only very good academically now, but also dances well, talks well, knows about nature, seasons, states of USA, plays ball.. the list keeps growing every day!! I am glad to see my kid in a happy and caring environment which is also very clean and hygenic.
