You get to pick: Where is your favorite preschool in the Danville and Alamo area.

Voting is closed. See the results below!

Hey parents, this one is right up your alley. For this week's readers' choice topic (), we're asking about preschools in the Danville and Alamo area.

We want to know, according to you, which preschool is your favorite. So, if your baby is in preschool, went through preschool, about to enter preschool, or if you just have an opinion about a preschool in the area, drop a vote below and tell us why in the comments.

Here are some of the preschools in the area:

You can vote for your favorite in the poll below.

If you want to take it a step further, and we hope you do, click on the links above and rate the preschool on its Patch Place listing. You can even leave a review!

If we missed a preschool, tell us in the comments section below. In the event of a tie, we will break it based on the comments, so please explain your choice.

If your favorite preschool is in a town nearby, check out the San Ramon Patch or Walnut Creek Patch and place your vote there.

(Because our poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The Danville Patch editor, based on poll results, comments and reviews on Patch Places, will determine the winner. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.)

My three sons, now almost 8 year old twins and a newly-turned 6 year old all had the pleasure and honor of attending Garden Montessori School. They were THE most prepared children in their kinder classes. This is a hidden gem--a place where teachers and school principals send their own kids. As a first grade teacher, I can honestly say what they learned at Garden School set the foundation for their elementary education.

The Dorris Eaton Preschool, is by far, the very best around. This is NOT a day-care center.....The program exposes our children to a variety of basic academics, while incorporating fun into their day. The teachers take the time to focus on basic values, social as well as pre reading and math basics. Each child, leaving the Dorris Eaton preschool has a solid foundation and zest for learning that will carry them through the remainder of the school years. The director takes the time to listen to each parent..addressing any and all concerns. This is a small community school where friendships are forged for life My vote for BEST is Dorris Eaton

Dayspring preschool is absolutely the best. Our son has attended the school since last summer and loves it. It is a very warm and nurturing environment. Teachers are very patient even with our little "slow to warm up" four year old. Our son has learned so much and has fun at the same time. The director Janice is simply amazing and also very hands on.
