SRVUSD Speaker Series

The presents a four-part 2011 Speaker Series, “The Skills and Ethics Needed for Success in the 21st Century," for high school students and their parents. The series features presentations by local officials and business leaders.

Here's the schedule:

  • March 2: Patrick Lencioni, best-selling author of "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team" and founder of the Lafayette-based consulting firm The Table Group. Topic: "Your Thinking Today Shapes Your Reality Tomorrow." This presentation takes place at the San Ramon Valley High School Performing Arts Center in Danville.
  • March 9: Kevin Lovell, Safeway NorCal Division District Manager. Topic: "The Skills Companies Require of Today's (and Tomorrow's) Workers." The presentation takes place at the Dougherty Valley High School Performing Arts Center in San Ramon.
  • March 16: Town of Danville Council Member Newell Anrerich. Topic: "Am I a Leader? You bet! You just may not know it yet!" The presentation takes place at the Monte Vista High School Theater.
  • March 23: Eight business people and high school students (to be announced) will form a panel. "Next Generation Workforce - What it Takes to Get the Great Jobs. "The event will take place at the California High School Theater.
