San Ramon Regional Medical Center invites the community to a free community seminar, “Learn about Treatments for an Enlarged Prostate,” on Wednesday, March 7, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The seminar will be held in the South Conference Room in the South Building located on the hospital campus at 7777 Norris Canyon Road, San Ramon.
Urologist, Parminder Sethi, M.D., will explain why men with an enlarged prostate, called Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH), experience urinary control issues. BHP is a natural, non-cancerous condition that affects most men by age 60. The enlarged prostate may press on the urethra causing control issues.
Dr. Sethi will explain treatments for men with urination issues including: muscle exercises, lifestyle changes, medications, and outpatient options. He will discuss surgical and non-surgical solutions for bladder control. One advanced procedure he will explain uses radio frequency energy to reduce the obstructing prostate tissue that causes pressure on the urethra. He will answer questions on these treatments and prostate health. Spouses are encouraged to attend.
Space is limited and reservations are required. Please call 800.284.2878 or visit Find an Event on www.OurSanRamonHospital.com.
