Treasure Maps & Treasure Boxes

This professionally facilitated grief support workshop uses art media to help young people explore their feelings and develop healthy coping skills.

Children and teens will experience a safe and nurturing environment designed to help them explore the obstacles they are encountering on their individual grief journey.  In this workshop participants will create and design their own unique treasure map to illustrate and help them understand these barriers.  They will also design a treasure box filled with special keepsakes as a tangible way to remember and cherish the memories of their loved one.  Please bring small mementos to put inside the treasure box.

Enrollment is limited.  Please call Linda Henry for an informational interview and early registration.  This workshop is offered at no charge to the community.
