Dougherty Valley High Graduation

The first graduating class of Dougherty Valley High School to complete all four years at the school accept their diplomas and look forward to the future.

On June 10, 2011, around 400 students eagerly awaited to graduate from Valley High School, as the first ever class to have completed all four years at this brand new high school.

As freshman who arrived to freshly painted buildings, and brand new teachers to seniors who have grasped the opportunities that flooded the halls of the school.

Graduating from the school with the highest API score in the district and the first high school to break the 900 point range on the API scale, this senior class has set the bar for academic achievement and truly established traditions of excellence for Dougherty Valley High.

After hearing multiple speeches about looking back at the past, life lessons learned in high school, and looking at the bright future ahead, students shifted their tassles from right to left and said goodbye to their high school career. It may be the end of high school for these determined individuals, but it is just a blank page that will soon be colored with their future.

We congratulate the Dougherty Valley High School Class of 2011 Seniors on their accomplishments and high standards of excellence that have shaped this High School for generations to come.
