Construction of the new pool is estimated at $3.5 million, with a $500,000 contribution from the Town of Danville in exchange for exclusive use by the town during summer hours.

Funding for the construction would come from the district’s Building Fund, known as Fund 21, and not the district’s general fund. These are monies allocated for school facilities.

The $3.5 includes demolishing the existing pool, construction of a new pool, bleachers, locker room and showers.

The San Ramon Valley High Wolf Fund has also offered to make a contribution to the project.

The board will also get fund balance reporting from the Governmental Accounting Standards Board, which released Statement No. 54, Fund Balance Reporting and Governmental Fund Type Definitions. It will address issues related to how fund balance is reported.

Trustees will review whether or not to approve Board Policy 3150 Fund Balance Reporting compliant with GASB Statement No. 54.

The district must adopt a board policy before June 30.

The board will also discuss the district's interdistrict attendance agreement policy with San Francisco Unified School District. The policy change would allow the district to revoke a student’s transfer request based on attendance, discipline and academic record.

The SRVUSD public board meeting begins at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the district’s main office: 699 Old Orchard Drive in Danville.
