California High Cheer Competes at Disney Hollywood Studios in Florida

The cheer team placed fifteenth in the Super Varsity Division

The Cal High Cheer team competed at the 2013 National High School Cheerleading Championship, in Orlando, Florida on Saturday night. The team competed against 30 other teams and placed fifteenth in the Super Varsity Division.

The competition was held in the Disney Hollywood Studios at the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Theater.


Nanci da Silva, wrote via email:

"Their coaches, Becca & Sarah, have trained every girl to do their personal best and to work together as a team. During the last year they have been training very hard and competing all over Northern California. Placing second and first for the region. They were able to qualify for nationals."
