Cal High's 'Grizzly Madness' Fundraising Auction Set for March

Profits will benefit the athletic programs at the school which are primarily self-funded, relying on parent and community donations to fill the funding gaps.

The California High School Athletic Boosters Organization is planning its eighth
'Grizzly Madness' fundraiser for Saturday, March 15 at the Crow Canyon Country Club in Danville.

All the profits from the evening will benefit the 24 California High School athletic programs which are primarily self-funded, relying on parent and community donations to fill the funding gaps to provide coaching, equipment, travel, practice and safe playing facilities.

Grizzly Madness is a spirited event. Open to the public and featuring professional auctioneers from Charity Benefit Auctions, guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions featuring many signed items from professional sports teams, an elegant dinner and a chance to mingle with some of Cal’s Hall of Fame Recipients.

Last years surprise speaker was Jim Harbough of the SF 49ers. An online auction will follow the event March 16-25.

The March 15 event begins at 6 p.m. and runs until 11:30 p.m.
