A Fiesta at Pine Valley Middle School
The Pine Valley Middle School's PTA held its first Open House Fiesta Dinner fundraiser.
Families of Pine Valley students were able to enjoy a Fiesta Dinner catered by Los Panchos Restaurant before its open house on Thursday.
The school’s PTA organized the event to raise money for core classroom materials and classroom technology maintenance.
Jason Newton, PVMS open house co-chair, said they were hoping to raise $1,000 through the Fiesta Dinner fundraiser.

“I think we sold out, so that’s about what we were hoping for,” Newton said. “A lot of time went into this. We have a great bunch of volunteers and Los Panchos has been phenomenal.”
Visitors were able to purchase tickets for the fundraiser in advance with a limited number sold at the event as well.

“Everyone seems happy and seems to be having a good time,” Newton said.
While the food had to be purchased, Los Panchos donated the catering service.
San Ramon Mayor H. Abram Wilson and councilmember Carol Rowley also visited the campus during its open house.
