3 Candidates Going for 2 Seats on School Board

Current school board president Greg Marvell and newcomers Mark Jewett and Dwight Winn have filed their papers to be on the board.

There will be at least one new member on the for the next term.

That's because current board member Paul Gardner is retiring, opening up a seat on the board.

Three people have filed papers with the county announcing their intention to run, including the current president of the board, Greg Marvel.

Mark Jewett and Dwight Winn are the two newcomers on the ballot. In their paperwork filed with the county, Jewett said he was a public accountant and Winn said he was a retired businessman.

The election will be held on Nov. 6.
