First Day for San Ramon's New Seasonal Farmers Market Coming Up

The new Thursday seasonal San Ramon Artisan Food Farmers Market opens from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 2.

The new seasonal Artisan Food Farmers Market opens from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 2 at Bishop Drive and Camino Ramon.

The artisan market will run from June 2 through Oct. 27. It takes place within walking distance from some of San Ramon's largest companies, including Chevron, AT&T, Hills Physicians Medical Center, 24 Hour Fitness and more.

The Thursday market will be an Artisan Food Market, featuring only the Best in the Bay Area food vendors and local growers. Look for the great selection of freshly prepared food, fine bakeries and in season, organic, locally grown produce. Enjoy a great lunch and stock up on fresh food for the weekend.

The new seasonal Thursday San Ramon Farmers Market features over 40 of the best Bay Area local vendors including: Local and organic growers Happy Boy Farms and Dirty Girl Produce, Lone Oak Ranch, Hamada Farms, Smit Orchards and fresh cut organic flowers from Thomas Farms in Aptos. 

The market presents a full range of local culinary products including homemade pasta from the Santa Cruz Pasta Factory, award winning Spanish olive oils from Berkeley Olive Grove 1913 with a spectacular array of gourmet street foods grilled up on-site by Chef Rick of the Green Lantern Catering Company and Chef Faz of East Bays very own Faz Restaurant.

Additional hot food vendors include wood fired pizza from Pizza Politana, naan wraps from India Gourmet and tamales, burritos, pupusas and enchamales from Donna’s Tamales. The San Ramon Farmers’ Market will also feature Argentine Empanadas from El Porteno, which was voted best emapanda by 7x7 Magazine.
