Poll: Should San Ramon Keep its Fourth of July Fireworks Show?

The City Council could make a decision to keep or axe the firework display tonight.

Since 1985, San Ramon has hosted its Star Spangled Spectacular fireworks event on the Fourth of July.

But it could end this year. With many Bay Area cities cancelling their fireworks display on America's birthday and the price of hosting show increasing, San Ramon is considering if the event is still worth it.

The San Ramon City Council is planning to discuss the topic at its meeting Tuesday night.
