PHOTO: Perkins' Campaign Kick-Off

The City Councilman celebrated his bid for re-election on Thursday at ClubSport.

Scott Perkins is coming up on two terms as a City Council member. On Thursday, he went down to City Hall to submit his paperwork to run for re-election.

We asked him why he's running.

A few reasons, he told us: To see more progress on the City Center, prevent development in Tassajara Valley and improve communication between citizens and city staff.
