There are three vacancies on San Ramon commissions and committees that the city is trying to fill.

Applications are being accepted for:
- Arts Advisory Committee: There is one vacancy for a two-year term. This committee, which gives the city input on cultural arts and services, meets at 7 p.m. every third Wednesday of the month at the .
- Housing Advisory Committee: There's one opening for a yearlong term. This committee advises the city's Redevelopment Agency about affordable housing and related programs. Meetings are at 7 p.m. on every second Thursday of the month in the Planning Conference Room at 2222 Camino Ramon.
- Library Advisory Committee: One spot is available for a term expiring in January next year. This board advises the city about library services. It meets quarterly at the .
