Interested in Being a Commissioner?

There are several vacancies on city commissions, and applicants are now being accepted.

There are three vacancies on San Ramon commissions and committees that the city is trying to fill.

If you want to get involved in local government, here's your opportunity.

Applications are being accepted for:

  • Arts Advisory Committee: There is one vacancy for a two-year term. This committee, which gives the city input on cultural arts and services, meets at 7 p.m. every third Wednesday of the month at the .
  • Housing Advisory Committee: There's one opening for a yearlong term. This committee advises the city's Redevelopment Agency about affordable housing and related programs. Meetings are at 7 p.m. on every second Thursday of the month in the Planning Conference Room at 2222 Camino Ramon.
  • Library Advisory Committee: One spot is available for a term expiring in January next year. This board advises the city about library services. It meets quarterly at the .
