What is the primary reason you are running for this office?

[I was] recently appointed and I'd like a full term to tackle the rates and other financial issues at the district. The district was in excellent financial shape when I left in 2000.

What will be your single most important priority if you get elected? 

Get our debt refinanced at a lower interest rate and fixed for a long term.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

Sixteen years of elected service on city council and DSRSD board. Experience.

Where do you work and what is your job title? 

Tax manager at a Pleasanton CPA firm.

Age and birthplace?

Sixty-three, born in Oakland, CA.

$2,000.

How long have you lived in the district?

Since 1971.

What's your favorite thing about the district?

Local control.

What is the biggest problem in the district?

Finances and water sources.
