Vallejo Women Killed on I-680 Identified

Alameda County Coroner's office said Leslie Flores, 21, of Vallejo was killed on Interstate 680 early Sunday morning.

A woman who was killed in a car crash in Pleasanton Sunday morning
has been identified by the Alameda County Coroner's Office as Leslie Flores,
21, of Vallejo.

Flores was driving on northbound Interstate Highway 680, near the Sunol Boulevard off-ramp, when her vehicle veered off the roadway and into a ditch at about 7:45 a.m. Sunday, California Highway Patrol officer James Evans said.

Flores was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, Evans said.

One lane of Highway 680 was blocked for several hours while the scene was cleared.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
