Three People Escape House Fire

A house fire was extinguished by the San Ramon Valley Fire District on Saturday night.

The San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District extinguished a house fire on the 2900 block of Sombrero Circle on Saturday about 8:48 p.m.

Three people escaped the two-story house without any injuries.

Battalion Chief John Viera said the department was able to extinguish the fire with the first alarm, which includes three engines, two ladder trucks and one paramedic.

No firefighters were injured and the fire did not spread to other properties.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
