Strongarm Robberies, Purse Snatchers, Forged Prescriptions: This Week's Police Logs

A sampling of notable incidents as recorded by San Ramon police dispatchers from Sept. 7 to 13.

This week local police made several arrests, responded to reports of a shooting and investigated reports of credit card fraud.

Tuesday, Sept. 7

  • There was a shooting on the 3200 block of Bollinger Canyon Road at 12:58 a.m.
  • Animal control was called on the 3100 block of Crow Canyon Road at 8:07 a.m.
  • Someone was reportedly brandishing a weapon in public on the 9800 block of Broadmoor Drive at 9:11 a.m.
  • Someone committed petty theft by snatching a purse on the 9100 block of Alcosta Boulevard at 9:51 a.m.
  • Someone who is mentally ill was hospitalized on the12600 block of Alcosta Boulevard at 2:31 p.m.
  • A kid was reported missing on the 8700 block of North Gale Ridge Road at 3:27 p.m.
  • A house was burglarized on the 100 block of Chapparal Court at 8:56 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 8

  • There was a commercial building burglarized on the 3100 block of Crow Canyon Road at 5:38 a.m.
  • There was a car accident with major injuries on Bollinger Canyon and Chanterella Drive at 8:22 a.m.
  • A car was burglarized on the 7400 block of Inverness Street at 2:54 p.m.
  • A kid reportedly ran away from the 100 block of Leigh Court at 5:24 p.m.
  • A misdemeanor hit and run occurred on the 18000 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard at 8:21 p.m.
  • Someone was driving under the influence on the 800 block of Amberstone Lane at 9:15 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 9

  • Someone committed credit card fraud on the 100 block of Stow Court at 10:40 a.m.
  • There was a car accident with both major injuries and property damage on Alcosta Boulevard and Brockton Avenue at 11:46 a.m.
  • A car accident caused property damage on Dougherty Road and Old Ranch Road at 1:59 p.m.
  • Someone was arrested for being drunk in public on the 2500 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard at 4:18 p.m.
  • A case of strongarm robbery was reported on Deerwood Road and San Ramon Valley Boulevard at 8:07 p.m.
  • Someone was throwing objects at passing vehicles on Bollinger Canyon Road and Camino Ramon at 8:33 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 10

  • A commercial building was burglarized on the 12500 block of Alcosta Boulevard at 6:37 a.m.

  • There was a misdemeanor hit and run on Alcosta Boulevard and Davona Dri at 6:43 a.m.
  • A car was burglarized on the 200 block of Compton Circle at 6:53 a.m.
  • Someone forged a prescription to get pharmaceutical drugs on the 2700 block of Crow Canyon Road at 8:27 a.m.
  • Credit card fraud was reported on the 3200 block of Barons Lane at 11:33 a.m.
  • A kid was reported missing on the 17000 block of Bollinger Canyon Road at 4:26 p.m.
  • Someone was throwing objects at vehicles on Harcourt Way and Roverton Court at 11:00 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 11

  • Someone was arrested for reckless driving on Alcosta Boulevard and Stagecoach Road at 1:43 a.m.
  • An arrest was made after a car accident with major injuries on the 2200 block of Camino Ramon at 1:52 a.m.
  • There was a shooting on the 100 block Stonepine Lane at 2:17 a.m.
  • Someone was arrested for illegal issues with a welfare check on the 2000 block of Shoreline Loop at 3:36 a.m.
  • Someone was arrested for battery at 12:25 p.m. The street information was not disclosed.
  • A home was burglarized on the 100 block of Stow Court at 2:27 p.m.
  • A case of strongarm robbery was reported on the 100 block of Market Place at 10:44 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 12

  • A case of strongarm robbery was reported on the 100 block of Motgomery Street at 9:15 a.m.
  • A bike was stolen from the 12500 block of Alcosta Boulevard at 10:34 a.m.
  • A misdemeanor hit and run was reported on Alcosta Boulevard and Reflections Drive at 4:10 p.m.
  • Someone was driving under the influence on northbound highway 680 off of Bollinger Canyon Road at 7:15 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 13

  • There was a car accident with major injuries on the 5000 block of Queensbury Way at 6:04 a.m.
  • A stolen car was recovered on the 2400 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard at 8:05 a.m.
  • A warrant was served and someone was arrested on the 1900 block of Canyon Village Circle at 11:48 a.m.
  • A misdemeanor hit and run was reported on the 2400 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard at 4:03 p.m.
  • A mentally ill person was hospitalized on the 2500 block of Paddock Drive at 5:24 p.m.
