San Ramon Police Department Welcomes Five New Officers

On Monday, the San Ramon Police Department welcomed its new officers.

There are some new faces on the San Ramon police force.

Five new officers were officially sworn in at a ceremony at the San Ramon Police Department on Monday. The new officers fill vacancies from last year, keeping the force at 58 officers.

The five new officers are: Rachel Wentz, John Cranford, Jessica Simonds, Matt Malone and Tami Williams.

Wentz comes from the Contra Costa Sheriff's Office with three years of experience.

Cranford was at the Sacramento Police Department for five years.

Simonds has been a police service technician for years with San Ramon.

Malone has 20 years of experience with the Contra Costa Sheriff's Office.

Williams comes from Daly City with 13 years experience.
