San Ramon Bank of the West Robbed

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

A well-dressed man who might have blended in with the rest of the business customers at Bank of the West robbed the Sunset Drive branch Monday at about 12:55 p.m.

San Ramon Police describe the suspect as a 6-foot-1 or 6-2 white male, age 25-30, clean shaven and wearing a black-and-white baseball cap, black nylon jacket, purple dress shirt, black tie, grey pants and dress shoes.

The suspect handed a note to one of the cashiers at the bank demanding money. The cashier handed him an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled on foot.

There were no injuries reported.
