San Jose Man Arrested for Drunken Driving After Hit-And-Run

San Ramon police arrested a man on Feb. 22 for drunken driving he crashed into another car

A 31-year-old man from San Jose was arrested for drunken driving on Feb. 22 by San Ramon Police after he struck another car without stopping, Officer Bill Doherty said.

According to Doherty, the collision took place around 8:11 p.m. in the area of San Ramon Valley Boulevard and Bollinger Canyon Road.

"Both parties had minor to moderate injuries," said Doherty  "The suspect resisted arrest. Both parties were transported to San Ramon Regional Hospital. The suspect was charged with felony DUI, felony hit-and-run and resisting arrest."
