PulsePoint a Top-10 Mobile Application

Local emergency services information mobile application breaks into top 10 of Apple's App store.

The local emergency services information mobile application unveiled last year is now one of the most downloaded in Apple's App Store.

PulsePoint announced the news on Twitter.

The application, which can be downloaded on both Apple and Android phones, was designed to help save lives. The free application notifies bystanders trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation or CPR to encourage them to render aid in cases of cardiac arrest.

Users can also monitor emergency responses by viewing an activity log and radio scanner built into the app.

Further details on the app can be found in this previous Patch report.
