A 12-year-old girl, who went missing Monday night, was found safe and unharmed in a Dougherty Valley park Tuesday afternoon, San Ramon police Lt. Dan Pratt said.
A resident saw the girl in the park and called police. Police responded and found her around 4:10 p.m.
San Ramon police released a press release a few hours earlier, alerting media of the missing girl.
Pratt said the girl ran away from home and no foul play is suspected.
