Police Log: Mentally Ill, Runaways and an Assault With a Deadly Weapon

Several mentally ill people, runaways and a firearm on school grounds in this week's crime blotter.

The following is a collection of weekly police activity prepared by the San Ramon Police Department. The document contains only items of note. The log contains incidents that occurred from April 13 to April 18.

Friday, April 13

Welfare check, mentally ill person, and a collision

10:16 a.m.—Welfare check conducted in the 2600 block of Bishop Drive.

12:08 p.m.—Mentally ill person hospitalized in the 5500 block of Satinleaf Way.

5:21 p.m.—Collision reported in the area of Bollinger Canyon Road and Sunset Drive.

Saturday, April 14

Arrests made during traffic stops, a vehicle burglary, runaway juvenile, and a fight

2:12 a.m.—Arrest made during a traffic stop in the area of Montevideo Drive and San Ramon Valley Boulevard.

10:34 a.m.—Vandalism reported in the 3800 block of Mandy Way.

2:51 p.m.—Report taken of vehicle burglary in the 100 block of Sunset Drive.

5:38 p.m.—Runaway juvenile reported in the 100 block of Valdivia Circle.

6:24 p.m.—Fight reported in the area of Bollinger Canyon Road and Market Place.

11:12 p.m.—Arrest made during a traffic stop in the 2300 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.

Sunday, April 15

Petty theft, arrest during a traffic stop, mentally ill person, assault with a deadly weapon

10:11 a.m.—Report taken of a petty theft from a vehicle in the 2400 block of Crow Canyon Road.

10:51 a.m.—Arrest made during a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Harness Drive.

1:10 p.m.—Mentally ill person hospitalized in the 100 block of Reflections Drive.

7:52 p.m.—Report taken of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 11000 block of Bollinger Canyon Road.

Monday, April 16

Suspicious subject arrested, firearm on school grounds and grand theft

8:25 a.m.—Suspicious subject arrested in the area of Bollinger Canyon Road and Talavera Drive.

2:59 p.m.—Grand theft reported in the 100 block of Sunset Drive.

Tuesday, April 17

Missing juveniles and an assault with a deadly weapon arrest

10:17 a.m.—Juvenile reported missing in the 12600 block of Alcosta Boulevard.

7:30 p.m.— Juvenile reported missing in the 1600 block of Arianna Lane.

11:59 p.m.—Arrest made for assault with a deadly weapon.

Wednesday, April 18

Grand thefts, vehicle burglaries and a collision

6:48 a.m.—Grand theft reported in the area of Del Mar Drive and Pine Valley Road.

12:31 p.m.—Report taken of a vehicle burglary in the 17900 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.

3:12 p.m.—Collision reported in the area of Pine Valley and San Ramon Valley Boulevard.

9:42 p.m.—Report taken of a vehicle burglary in the 2400 block of Old Crow Canyon Road.
