Police Log: Mental Illness, Embezzlement and Arrests

Several mentally ill people hospitalized, an embezzlement and numerous arrests are reported in this week's crime blotter.

The following is a collection of weekly police activity prepared by the San Ramon Police Department. The document contains only items of note. The log contains incidents that occurred from August 9 to August 15.

Thursday, August 9
Mental illness, welfare check, arrest made during a warrant service, vehicle burglary, collision, drunken driving arrest and hit-and-run collision.

12:46 a.m.--Mentally ill person hospitalized in the 6000 block of Norris Canyon Road.
6:49 a.m.--Welfare check in the 2400 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
9:35 a.m.--Arrest made during a warrant service in the 4000 block of San Roberto Place.
11:05 a.m.--Report taken of vehicle burglary in the 3900 block of Veritas Way.
6:13 p.m.--Collision reported in the area of Compton Circle and Twin Creeks Drive.
8:15 p.m.--Drunken driving arrest made in the 200 block of Crow Canyon Place.
10:11 p.m.--Hit-and-run collision in the 11000 block of Bollinger Canyon Road.

Friday, August 10
Lost property, collision, arrest during a traffic stop and a welfare check

12:38 p.m.--Report taken of lost property in the 6000 block of Norris Canyon Road.
4:15 p.m.--Collision reported in the Alcosta Boulevard and Bollinger Canyon Road.
4:20 p.m.--Arrest made during a traffic stop in the area of Bollinger Canyon Road and Canyon Lakes.
7:40 p.m.--Report taken during a welfare check in the 2900 block of Sombrero Circle.

Saturday, August 11
Commercial burglary, mental illness, vehicle burglary

9:48 a.m.--Report taken for commercial burglary in the 2500 block of Old Crow Canyon Road.
10:35 a.m.--Mentally ill person hospitalized in the 6000 block of Hedgecrest Circle.
3:34 p.m.--Report taken of vehicle burglary in the 2400 block of Promontory Circle.

Sunday, August 12
Arrest during traffic stops, runaway juvenile and a welfare check

12:15 a.m.--Arrest made during a traffic stop of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Rockcrest Circle.
8:43 a.m.--Report taken of drug violations in the 1100 block of Harness Drive.
3:44 p.m.--Runaway juvenile reported in the 3100 block of Pine Valley Road.
8:31 p.m.--Welfare check conducted in the 2000 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
11:54 p.m.--Arrest made during a traffic stop in the area of Davone Drive and Pine Valley Road.

Monday, August 13
Vandalism, collisions and a shoplifter arrested

8:49 a.m.--Vandalism reported in the 4400 block of Norris Canyon Road.
12:57 p.m.--Collision reported in the area of Stoneleaf Road and South Wedgewood Road.
2:08 p.m.--Shoplifter arrested in the 2700 block of Crow Canyon Road.
3:52 p.m.--Collision reported in the area of Crow Canyon Road and Shoreline Drive.
4:20 p.m.--Collision reported in the 9500 block of Belle Meade Drive.

Tuesday, August 14
Arrests, mental illness and collisions

2:22 a.m.--Arrest made after an injury collision in the area of Bollinger Canyon Road and San Ramon Valley.
9:37 a.m.--Mentally ill person hospitalized in the 3100 block of Crow Canyon Place.
12:52 p.m.--Arrest made of a felony embezzlement in the 2700 block of Crow Canyon Road.
2:09 p.m.--Collision reported in the area of Albion Road and Bollinger Canyon Road.
2:10 p.m.--Collision reported in the 18000 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
4:22 p.m.--Arrest made during a traffic stop in the 2800 block of Crow Canyon Road.

Wednesday, August 15
Arrest during a surveillance, hit-and-run collision, threats reported and a stolen vehicle

1:20 a.m.--Arrest made during a surveillance in the 9400 block of Olympia Fields Drive.
3:04 a.m.--Hit-and-run collision in the 3300 block of Pine Valley Road.
2:09 p.m.--Report taken of threats in the 2600 block of Camino Ramon.
6:17 p.m.--Stolen vehicle reported in the 4500 block of Norris Canyon Road.
