Police Log: I-680 CHP Shooting, Tutor Arrested and Collisions

A recap of the I680 CHP shooting, a local tutor arrested by Dublin Police and many collisions are reported in this week's crime blotter.

The following is a collection of weekly police activity prepared by the San Ramon Police Department. The document contains only items of note. The log contains incidents that occurred from August 30 to September 4.

Thursday, August 30
Collisions, arrest and a petty theft

8:12 a.m.--Collision reported in the 11600 block of East Branch Parkway.
8:56 a.m.--Collision reported in the area of Crow Canyon Road and I680.
12:59 p.m.--Hit-and-run collision in the 9500 block Davona Drive.
1:30p.m.--Dublin Police of Dublin and San Ramon on suspicion of assaulting a juvenile on Sunday, August 26.
2:03 p.m.--Collision reported in the area of Deerwood Road and San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
5:16 p.m.--Report taken of a petty theft in the 9100 block of Alcosta Boulevard.
6:05 p.m.--Collision reported in the area of  Crow Canyon Road and I680.

Friday, August 31
Arrest during a traffic stop, burglaries, collision and mental illness

2:15 a.m.--Arrest made during a traffic stop in the area of Crow Canyon Road and Twin Creek Drive.
8:56 a.m.--Report taken of a residential burglary in the 1100 block of Crestfield Drive.
9:43 a.m.--Report taken of vehicle burglary in the 1500 block of Canyon Village Circle.
4:46 p.m.--Collision in the area of East Branch Parkway and Sherwood Way.
6:07 p.m.--Report taken of vehicle burglary in the 2700 block of Canyon Creek Drive.
6:46 p.m.--Report taken of a residential burglary in the 2900 block of Morgan Drive.
7:21 p.m.--Mentally ill person hospitalized in the area of Alcosta Boulevard and San Ramon Valley Boulevard.

Saturday, September 1
Arrests, collision, welfare checks and mentally ill person

3:34 a.m.--Arrest made after a collision in the area of Dougherty Road and Oak Valley Drive.
10:08 a.m.--Collision reported in the area of Alcosta Boulevard and San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
12:01 p.m.--Welfare check conducted in the area of Lasso Circle and Paddock Drive.
2:25 p.m.--Collision in the area of Alcosta Boulevard and Market Place.
7:33 p.m.--Arrest made during an investigation in the area of Alcosta Boulevard and I680.
8:10 p.m.--Mentally ill person hospitalized in the 200 block of Lasso Circle.
10:26 p.m.--Welfare check conducted in the 200 block of Westwood Avenue.

Sunday, September 2
Unwanted guest, arrest and hit-and-run

2:18 a.m.--Disturbance call of an unwanted guest in the 4300 block of Lilac Ridge Road.
1:48 p.m.--Petty theft arrest made in the 2400 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
10:46 p.m.--Hit-and-run reported in the area of Bollinger Canyon and Crow Canyon Road.

Monday, September 3
Arrest, hit-and-run collision and a collision

2:59 a.m.--Arrest made during a traffic stop in the 21000 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
9:04 a.m.--Hit-and-run collision reported in the 2800 block of Bollinger Canyon Road.
2:39 p.m.--Collision reported in the area of Bollinger Canyon Road and Windemere Parkway.
9:38 p.m.--Hit-and-run collision reported in the 2100 block of Watercress Place.

Tuesday, September 4
Burglaries, stolen cars, I680 CHP shooting and a collision

6:37 a.m.--Report taken for residential burglary in the 5000 block of Crow Canyon Road.
6:42 a.m.--Report taken of a vehicle burglary in the 2500 block of Fountainhead Drive.     
7:52 a.m.--Stolen vehicle reported in the 500 block Crow Canyon Road.   
8:20 a.m.--Shooting during a in Alamo. . The are being accepted at two banks.
10:11 a.m.--Stolen vehicle reported in the 2100 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
5:23 p.m.--Collision reported in the area of Crow Canyon Road and Highway I680.
