Police Log: Suspected DUI Crash; Teen Runaways; Animal-Cruelty Checks

Objects tossed at cars twice on Friday, and more incidents encountered March 21 to 27.

A suspected DUI crash Sunday evening at Bollinger Canyon and Crow Canyon roads sent at least one person to the hospital, mangled a vintage truck and sent a newer-model SUV careening into a fence, according to police and a witness at the scene.

A police spokesperson confirmed one arrest for suspected driving-under-influence was made. However, details on which motorist was apprehended were unavailable as the incident report is still being processed by the San Ramon Police Department.

A witness at the site of the collision, which was logged at 8:13 p.m., reported that the driver of the classic truck was taken from the scene by ambulance. The other vehicle was spun around into a fence, the individual said.
