Police Log: Cars Stolen and Stolen Cars Recovered

Several cars were reported stolen while several stolen cars were recovered along with numerous arrests and collisions in this week's crime blotter.

The following is a collection of weekly police activity prepared by the San Ramon Police Department. The document contains only items of note. The log contains incidents that occurred from August 2 to August 8.

Thursday, August 2
Collisions, stolen car, hit-and-run collision, stolen car found and residential burglary

3:12 a.m.--Collision in the area of Alcosta Drive and Davona Drive.
11:30 a.m.--Collision in the 9700 block of Davona Drive.
2:00 p.m.--Stolen vehicle reported in the 2000 block of Crow Canyon Place.
5:12 p.m.--Hit-and-run collision in the area of Crow Canyon Road and Highway 680.
8:37 p.m.--Stolen vehicle recovered in the 100 block of Cree Circle.
9:42 p.m.--Report taken of residential burglary in the 100 block of Terraced Hills Way.

Friday, August 3
Collisions, burglaries and a recovered stolen car

8:03 a.m.--Collision reported in the 2400 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
10:01 a.m.--Report taken of vehicle burglary in the 2300 block of Talavera Drive.
11:43 a.m.--Shoplifter arrested in the 2400 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
3:16 p.m.--Report taken of a residential burglary in the 9700 block of Alcosta Boulevard.
4:18 p.m.--Report taken of a vehicle burglary in the 2600 block Camino Ramon.
5:04 p.m.--Report taken of a vehicle burglary in the 270 block of Canyon Creek Drive.
8:52 p.m.--Stolen vehicle recovered in the 3100 block of Fostoria Way.
10:07 p.m.--Collision reported in the Bollinger Canyon Road and North Monarch Road.

Saturday, August 4
Arrest during traffic stop, vandalism, and a collision

2:19 a.m.--Arrest made during a traffic stop of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Canyon Crest Drive and Crow Canyon Road.
11:36 a.m.--Report taken of vandalism in the 3500 block of York Lane.
1:56 p.m.--Collision reported in the area of Lucy Lane and South Wedgewood Road.
4:52 p.m.--Collision reported in the area of East Branch Parkway and Windemere Parkway.

Sunday, August 5
Welfare check, petty theft and arrest during a traffic stop

10:08 a.m.--Welfare check conducted in the 2700 block of Crow Canyon Road.
1:51 p.m.--Report taken of petty theft in the 100 block of Park Place.   
4:47 p.m.--Arrest made during a traffic stop in the area of Brookcliff Circle and Wedgewood Road.

Monday, August 6
Stolen car, vehicle burglary, collisions, welfare check and mentally ill person

6:40 a.m.--Stolen car reported in the 2400 block of Camino Ramon.
7:40 a.m.--Report taken of vehicle burglary in the 2400 block of Camino Ramon.
7:52 a.m.--Report taken of vehicle burglary in the 2400 block of Camino Ramon.
7:55 a.m.--Report taken of vehicle burglary in the 2400 block of Camino Ramon.
8:21 a.m.--Report taken of vehicle burglary in the 2400 block of Camino Ramon.
9:27 a.m.--Collision reported in the 2600 block of Camino Ramon.
1:44 p.m.--Welfare check conducted in the 1100 block of Crestfield Drive.
3:23 p.m.--Collision reported in the area of Alcosta Avenue and Montevideo Drive.
8:59 p.m.--Violent, mentally ill person hospitalized in the 6000 block of Norris Canyon Road.

Tuesday, August 7
Mentally ill person, petty theft and runaway juvenile

10:51 a.m.--Mentally ill person hospitalized in the 2300 block of Camino Ramon
3:28 p.m.--Report taken of petty theft in the 100 block of Canyon Woods Loop.
9:34 p.m.--Runaway juvenile reported in the 100 block of Arapaho Circle.

Wednesday, August 8
Arrest during traffic stop, collisions, hit-and-run collisions, identity theft and a stolen car

12:35 a.m.--Arrest made during a traffic stop on Crow Canyon Road and Porter Drive.
7:31 a.m.--Collision in the area of Alcosta Boulevard and Elmwood Drive.
10:16 a.m.--Hit-and-run collision in the 2600 block of Camino Ramon.
3:52 p.m.--Report taken of identity theft in the 100 block of Cortona Drive.
5:33 p.m.--Stolen vehicle reported in the 18000 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
10:17 p.m.--Hit-and-run collision in the 11000 block of Bollinger Canyon Road.

Is it possible to obtain more information related to the stolen vehicles (i.e., make, year, and model) and what was taken from the vehicles?
