An assault with a deadly weapon, stolen cars and hospitalization for mental illness are in this week's crime blotter.

The following is a collection of weekly police activity prepared by the San Ramon Police Department. The document contains only items of note. The log contains incidents that occurred from July 6 to July 12.

Friday, July 6
Suspicious vehicle, collisions and a vehicle burglary

12:59 a.m.--Suspicious vehicle stopped in the area of Ensenada Drive and Mangos Drive.
1:11 p.m.--Collision in the area of Canyon Crest Drive and Crow Canyon Road.
1:47 p.m.--Collision in the area of Alcosta Boulevard and Broadmoor Drive.
2:13 p.m.--Report taken of vehicle burglary in the 3200 block of Canyon Village Circle.

Saturday, July 7
Arrests during traffic stops, stolen vehicle, warrant service and welfare check

1:52 a.m.--Arrest made during a traffic stop in the 100 block of Crow.
10:21 a.m.--Report taken of vehicle burglary in the 7500 block of May Way.
12:38 p.m.--Stolen vehicle reported in the 300 block of Cardona Circle.
5:44 p.m.--Arrest made during a traffic stop in the 5200 block of Bollinger Canyon Road.
10:31 p.m.--Warrant served in the 200 block of Dexter Place.
11:13 p.m.--Welfare check conducted in the 18000 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.

Sunday, July 8
Collision, suspicious subject arrested, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and hit-and-run collisions

12:08 a.m.--Collision reported in the 100 block of Shoreline Circle.
1:48 a.m.--Suspicious subject arrested in the 2500 block of Twin Creeks Drive.
4:09 a.m.--Assault with a deadly weapon reported in the 2400 block of Crow Canyon Road.
9:28 a.m.--Report taken of residential burglary in the 100 block of Ryan Industrial Court.
10:56 a.m.--Hit-and-run collision reported in the 100 block of Shoreline Circle.
1:06 p.m.--Hit-and-run collision reported in the  9200 block of alcosta Boulevard.

Monday, July 9
Welfare check, stolen vehicle, mental illness, collision and vehicle burglary

5:10 a.m.--Welfare check conducted in the 18000 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
10:28 a.m.--Stolen vehicle reported in the 9100 block of Alcosta Boulevard.
11:09 a.m.--Mentally ill person hospitalized in the 3100 block of Crow Canyon Place.
1:24 p.m.--Collision reported in the area of Crow Canyon and San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
9:10 p.m.--Report taken of vehicle burglary in the 18000 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.

Tuesday, July 10
Collisions and brandishing a weapon

2:43 a.m.--Collision reported in the area of East Branch Parkway and Sherwood Way.
10:53 a.m.--Collision reported in the area of Alcosta Avenue and Crow Canyon Road.
11:34 a.m.--Collision reported in the area of Bollinger Canyon and West Branch Creek.
1:25 p.m.--Collision reported in the area of Camino Ramon and Norris Canyon Road.
3:05 p.m.--Report taken of brandishing a weapon in the 2100 block of Omega Road.

Wednesday, July 11
Arrest made during traffic stop, collisions, welfare check and hit-and-run

3:21 a.m.--Arrest made during a traffic stop in the 2500 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
8:26 a.m.--Collision reported in the area of East Branch Parkway and Dougherty.
12:28 p.m.--Collision reported in the 7500 block of Interlachen Avenue.
7:56 p.m.--Welfare check conducted in the 6000 block if Norris Canyon Road.
8:43 p.m.--Hit-and-run collision reported in the 100 block of Cedar Pointe Loop.

Thursday, July 12
Collisions and residential burglary

8:43 a.m.--Collision reported in the area of Albridal and Hedgecrest.
12:19 p.m.--Collision reported in the area of Crow Canyon Road and Deerwood Road.
5:11 p.m.--Report taken of residential burglary in the 1900 block of Canyon Village Circle.
