Police Arrest Suspect in Village Parkway Hit-And-Run Case
San Ramon officers arrested Zaid Masood Khan in Hayward on Wednesday.
A 32-year-old Hayward man was arrested Wednesday in connection to the Nov. 9 hit-and-run that seriously injured an 82-year-old man, police said.
Zaid Masood Khan was arrested and booked at the Martinez Dentition facility for felony hit-and-run and a probation violation. There is no bail allowed in this case.

San Ramon investigators located Masood's car in Hayward and arrested him Wednesday.
The hit-and-run happened around 5:25 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9. Police said the driver was traveling southbound on Village Parkway from Alcosta Boulevard. Following the collision, the vehicle continued southbound toward Dublin.

The 82-year-old man remains hospitalized at John Muir Medical Center.
