Third Suspect Arrested in Deadly Gold N' Treasures Robbery

Gregory Jamal Lewis, 22, was arrested on the 200 block of B Street in Hayward on Wednesday.

A third suspect has been arrested in connection to the on May 30, San Ramon police said Friday.

Gregory Jamal Lewis, 22, was arrested on the 200 block of B Street in Hayward on Wednesday. The Contra Costa District Attorney's Office plans to charge Lewis with murder and three counts of armed robbery.

He is currently being held at the Martinez Dentition Facility.

Last Friday, San Ramon Police , 19, of Hayward, in connection to the robbery. .

The first suspect, , was shot and killed in the incident. San Ramon Police say Bairu brandished a gun and made threatening statements before the owner, Everett Parvin, shot him once.

Bairu then stumbled out of the store and collapsed on San Ramon Valley Boulevard. He was transported to where he died.

Lewis and Prasad can be charged with murder because in California if a death occurs as a result of criminal activity, the suspects involved can be held responsible for it.

San Ramon Police are still looking for a fourth suspect connected to the robbery. If you have any information, the department asks you to call them at 925-973-2700.
